Railway Stations

The new furnishings on Dutch railway stations were treated by Verzinkerij and Poedercoating Heerhugowaard using the Duplex system (www.duplexroute.nl). Clearly recognizable steel balustrades, plating and twin-tubed railings in black and red have been mounted on station crossovers and escalators. Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard galvanised the material first. Then Poedercoating Heerhugowaard gave it a first coat of epoxy primer and a second coat of polyester powder coating in black and red. The minimum thickness of the layer was 120 microns.
